Sid Slades Biography
Hiya,thanks for coming to hear me sing and thanks for taking time to read my bio.
I come from a city called Wolverhampton in central England.
I left school a short time ago,around 33 years hehe. im 49-35-25 ( years-body-mind), but shhhh dont tell anyone :-).
Although i have grown up loving music of all genres,my real love has always been rock. but i never had the desire to sing or even ever attempted to sing,apart from little bits of songs along to the radio at work or in bathroom as most of us do.
Then a few months ago in around june 2009,and by complete accident,i began to sing and unknown to me began this surreal journey i am on now. Accident being that a visiting nephew who is in a band,left his microphone by mistake when he left my house,so i hooked it up to pc for a little fun. Recorded a couple of awful songs and played for my friends.As you expect from good friends,they all said how good they was and lots potential.( bless them). But it kind of got me a little more interested.
Then i met a wonderful friend in here named Life Charron,she totally inspired me and kicked my ass regular to take it more seriously. Without her inspiration i certainly wouldn't be singing now.

Then i met the wonderful still Braveheart who after becoming great friends and hearing me sing,she agreed to become my manager and to take me under her wing and guide me through my surreal journey.
TY still :-).
So what you hear now is an ageing baby of singing on a surreal journy,and the results of the last few months work i have put into it :-)
Although i am still learning all about how to use mixer and mic and software properly.i am hoping that i have it all set up good enough that you get a pleasant sound from me.

As you can imagine my song list isnt huge in such a short time,maybe 35/40 songs,,but it will grow as i grow as i grow as a singer.
